Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Operations Manager II on a night shift to oversee warehouse operations in Spartanburg, SC. The role focuses on leading a team, optimizing workflows, and ensuring safety and efficiency across the operation.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 1 year of logistics experience, and 2 years in a supervisory role, with a national salary range of $72,000 – $85,000. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
• 1 year logistics industry experience, required.
• 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports by providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plan, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Take proactive measures to uphold compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of heightened safety awareness.
• Compile comprehensive reports on KPIs, including productivity and accuracy metrics, providing insights for decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Foster open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates to promote transparency and teamwork.
• Collaborate with HR and site leadership to ensure a comprehensive hiring process of Supervisors.
• Ensure prompt fulfillment of customer orders and address customer concerns to achieve exceptional satisfaction.
