Job summary

IKEA is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support daily DC operations, working Wednesday through Saturday from 4:00pm to 2:30am. You will handle picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment and storing with a focus on customer service and efficiency.

The role demands physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced distribution center environment. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour with full benefits eligible for eligible co-workers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30kgs ergonomic, stand and walk for long periods.
• Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Reach excellence in the daily running of different parts of the DC Operations by assuming major responsibility for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment and storing with the customer in focus.
• Manage picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment and storing of the goods; contribute to goals of the action plan.
• Unload inbound/outbound goods; secure merchandise to allow safe movement through the distribution center.
• Contribute to warehouse operations goals, drive local projects and adjust workload to seasonal needs.
• Remove and document damages found on inbound/outbound merchandise.
