Phoenix Metals Company is seeking a warehouse associate for the night shift (11:00pm–7:30am) to perform routine tasks with detailed instructions. You will move inventory, fill customer orders, pull material from racks, unload incoming shipments, load trucks, and help maintain warehouse safety and organization.

The role requires hands-on experience in warehousing, ability to operate or obtain certification for motorized handling equipment, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifikationen

• 2-5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a Valid Driver's License.
• Warehousing and material handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain certification to operate all required motorized material handling and rigging equipment.
• Clear oral and written communication skills, particularly legible handwriting.
• Adequate manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions for work.
• Basic measurement skills for length, width, height and weight.
• Basic arithmetic skills for decimals and fractions.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Ability to make sound decisions based on knowledge, experience and judgment.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with supervisors and coworkers.

Aufgaben

• Move inventory or equipment and fulfill customer orders.
• Pull material from racks and unload incoming material.
• Load trucks and customer vehicles and assist with warehouse upkeep.
• Receive, place and return items into stock locations.
• Pull and assemble orders based on shipping documents.
• Tag material for proper identification and documentation.
• Move material using forklift, side loader or crane.
• Operate yard truck to load/unload trailers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Sort and place material by predetermined criteria and check tagging.

Kenntnisse

2-5 years of relevant experience

Valid Driver's License

Warehousing and material handling

Operates all required motorized MHE
