Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company seeks a night shift Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials in a plant and yard environment. You will operate RF handheld scanners, follow work orders, and assist with trailer loading and securing loads.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and maintaining accurate production records. Night shifts start at 7pm and run until finish, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read work orders and follow instructions; basic data entry may be required.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or follow oral instructions to identify materials to move.
• Load and unload materials onto pallets, racks, or conveyors by hand.
• Guide conveyors to off-load materials from trailers as needed.
• Pack materials for transport with straps or padding to prevent shifting.
• Enter data using RF handheld scanners or fixed terminals.
• Load trucks for Industrial Truck Operator where applicable.
• Stack materials in trailers and secure with appropriate materials.
• Lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
