Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Iowa City, IA is seeking a Forklift Driver for the 3rd shift (10pm-6:30am, Sun-Thurs). Base pay ranges from $19.30 to $25.00 per hour, with a full-time schedule and standard warehouse duties including receiving, picking, and inventory control.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 6 months logistics experience, forklift certification, and comfort operating MHE in a climate-controlled warehouse. EOE; HR contact: [e-mail].

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• Ability to operate MHE (forklift, clamp truck, etc.).
• Must be able to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations and input data into WMS.
• Pull and prepare for shipment ensuring correct quantity and type of product.
• Verify inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Move product from staging to production lines or docks and ensure proper documentation.
• Keep records for tight inventory control and assist in physical inventories.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and comply with SOPs.
