Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring Warehouse Associates in Opa Locka, FL. Earn $18.50/hour with a $1.00/night shift premium, plus weekly pay and benefits. Night shift is Sunday-Wednesday 5:00 pm–3:30 am in a clean, safe facility supporting US distribution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up/sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks) and maintain them.
• Ability to read basic math in English for safety and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit, and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning accuracy.
• Help train dock staff on new procedures and maintain secure facility.
• Perform picking and packing duties and check for product or container damage.
• Maintain housekeeping and support warehouse operations improvements.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Six months warehouse experience

One year or more related warehouse experience preferred

Powered industrial truck certification

Forklift operation (stand-up/sit-down)
