Job summary

Ryder is hiring Warehouse Associates in Opa Locka, FL to join a team focused on safe, efficient distribution across the US. Pay starts at $18.50 per hour with an extra $1.00 per hour for night shifts; schedule is Night Shift Wednesday-Saturday 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Positions include paid training, medical/dental/vision/401(k), and PTO after 1st month. Equipment used includes RF scanners; safety gear is provided and leadership prioritizes safety.

Qualifications

• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up/sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, etc.) including maintenance basics.
• Powered industrial truck certification is required or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning is correct and train dock staff.
• Perform picking and packing duties; ensure facility is secure at end of shift.
• Handle materials within policies and perform material moves as required.
• Participate in team activities to improve warehouse operations.
• Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.
