Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Opa Locka, FL is hiring Warehouse Associates for night shift roles. You will handle packaging, loading/unloading, and order fulfillment in a safe warehouse setting with weekly pay and strong benefits. Positions require basic math and reading skills, forklift certification, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Powered industrial truck certification.
• Ability to read and do basic mathematics in English for safety and work instructions.
• Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure all scanning is completed correctly.
• Help train dock employees on new procedures and ensure security at end of shift.
• Perform picking and packing duties; check for product or container damage.
• Perform material moves with related transactions as required.
• Participate in team activities to improve warehouse operations and processes.
• Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
