Job summary

Anchor Ingredients Company is seeking a production support associate to assist daily scheduled production, perform cleaning and packaging tasks, and maintain high quality standards. You will label products, protect them after bagging, and monitor equipment while reporting issues to supervision.

The role requires strict adherence to safety, sanitation, and quality programs, with responsibilities for maintaining cleanliness and supporting equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Work in dust.
• Open traps on trucks and trailers.
• Work in confined spaces.
• Work at significant heights.
• Work in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily scheduled production in all areas, ensuring the processing work is performed efficiently.
• Bag and tote product.
• Label products according to standards (Product Number, Product Name, Lot, Date, and other requirements).
• Protect product after bagging (wrapping, labeling).
• Monitor equipment and report problems to supervisor.
• Maintain appearance of facilities (inside and outside).
• Perform general sanitation functions (sweeping, mopping, etc.).
• Adhere to Safety Program and report hazards.
• Ensure products are stored to maintain quality.
• Identify deviations from quality standards and report.
