Job summary

Performance Food Group in Springfield, MA is hiring a Warehouse Worker to support shipping and receiving within our distribution center. You will perform general warehouse duties, operate forklifts or pallet jacks, and ensure safety and accuracy in daily tasks.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 90 pounds, and working Sunday-Thursday, 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. We offer competitive pay and benefits starting Day 1, plus 401(k) matching and growth opportunities within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Ability to lift 10-35 pounds and up to 90 pounds, depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Performs general warehouse duties including forklift put-away, let-downs, order selection, loading and receiving.
• Maintains safe, clean work areas and reports unsafe conditions immediately.
• Performs daily safety checks on the forklift/pallet jack as required.
• Ensures productivity and accuracy standards are met per location guidelines.
• Puts on required PPE and completes necessary paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
