Job summary

Elite Staffing Inc. seeks a Warehouse Associate for our Provo, UT facility. You will organize stock, verify shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records while packing items for shipping and ensuring orders meet high quality standards.

Ideal candidates are comfortable lifting heavy items, operating a forklift with certification, and working a physical, fast-paced shift. Night hours are 9:30 pm–6:00 am, Monday to Friday with occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding role.
• Experience operating a forklift; certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and basic inventory records.
• Typing and record-keeping for inventory accuracy.
• Customer service mindset to ensure accurate shipments.
• Ability to prioritize daily tasks and solve problems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Organize stock and merchandise by unboxing and storing in designated locations.
• Maintain records of stocked products and report inventory to management.
• Verify incoming shipments against invoices and ensure item condition.
• Monitor and report missing or lost inventory to management.
• Pack items for shipping per standards to arrive in good condition.
• Sort items on shelves and bins according to company standards.
• Maintain company database for all stock and warehouse items.
• Retrieve items from warehouse for processing and shipment.

Warehouse Associate

Job Duties:

• Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location
• Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and provide management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped and received
• Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensure all goods are in excellent condition
• Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management
• Properly pack items to be shipped according to company standards to ensure they arrive in excellent condition
• Organize and sort items on shelving, bins and overhangs according to company standards
• Accurately maintain company database including all stock and warehouse items
• Reliably retrieve items from within the warehouse to be processed and shipped

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as many warehouse items are cumbersome and heavy
• Ability to operate a forklift (sit down and standing)
• Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining and organized warehouse
• Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs
• Experience using a forklift and professional forklift certification is strongly preferred
• Typing and record keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers and supervisors regarding warehouse inventory
• Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
• Customer service mentality is beneficial to ensure a positive customer experience by shipping items to a high standard

9:30 pm to 6:00 am

Mon-Fri occasionally some weekends –

$15-$17 depending on shift
