Job summary

Core-Mark is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Hayward, CA. The role involves moving, stocking and tracking goods through the warehouse, handling inbound and outbound shipments, and maintaining inventory integrity.

You will offload, pick, restock, and prepare shipments while adhering to safety policies. Qualified candidates have at least 6 months of warehouse experience, can lift up to 90 pounds, and can work in multi-temperature environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of warehouse experience
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location
• Must work scheduled times and overtime as required
• Able to work in cooler, freezer and dry environments
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check

Responsibilities

• Receives inbound merchandise and locates proper pick locations.
• Restocks order pick and flow lines to prepare for order selection.
• Ensures product is placed in adequate quantities for routine or special demands.
• Maintains attention to detail in balers, aisles, racking, floors and areas assigned.
• Transfers merchandise to appropriate locations and consolidates into picking containers.
• Packs products securely and marks cartons with shipping IDs and run numbers.
• Maintains safe and efficient movement of goods in the warehouse.
• Keeps inventory integrity by following system processes.
• Pulls orders per delivery route/run list.
• Records quantities of materials received or distributed.
• Performs end-of-shift tasks and prepares workstation for next shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned
