Eclipse Specialty & Emergency Pet Care in Whippany, NJ is seeking an Overnight Veterinary Technician to join our employee-owned facility. You will monitor critical patients, administer medications, and assist veterinarians during emergencies in a state-of-the-art setting.

The role requires hands-on experience in emergency/critical care, proficiency with specialized equipment, and the ability to communicate clearly with the care team and pet owners.

Qualifications

• Experience in a veterinary hospital emergency/ICU setting preferred.
• Proficiency with advanced medical equipment used in critical care.
• Strong communication with veterinarians, staff and pet owners.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients continuously, including vital signs (heart rate, BP, temp).
• Administer medications, fluids, and pain management.
• Perform emergency procedures and CPR as needed.
• Collaborate with veterinarians to follow treatment plans.
• Conduct routine diagnostic tests like blood work and vitals.
