Qualifications

• Prior veterinary experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Urgent/Emergency Care: Administer meds, run tests, assist in surgeries, post-op care.
• Patient Monitoring: Track vital signs, patient records, respond to changes.
• Emergency Procedures: Perform CPR and life-saving techniques.
• Patient Handling: Safely restrain animals for exams and treatments.
• Communication: Discuss conditions and plans with pet owners.
• Environment Maintenance: Keep the area clean, sterilize tools, handle intake/discharge.
• Equipment Management: Operate medical devices like ventilators and IV pumps.
• Triage and Assessment: Do initial patient assessments and triage.
• Advanced Skills: Anesthesia induction/monitoring, IV catheter placement, advanced nursing care.
