Job summary

I-20 Animal Hospital is seeking experienced Overnight Veterinary Technicians to join our 24/7 emergency and general practice team near Weatherford, TX. You’ll work with eight veterinarians in a fast-paced ER environment, monitoring and treating hospitalized patients through the night.

Ideal candidates have veterinary technician experience, with LVT encouraged to apply. We offer a supportive overnight team, competitive hourly pay plus shift differential, and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum veterinary technician experience required in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Licensure as a Veterinary Technician is encouraged to apply (LVT preferred).
• Strong clinical skills in emergencies, diagnostics, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor emergency and hospitalized patients overnight.
• Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Place IV catheters and manage fluid therapy.
• Monitor anesthesia and support emergency surgeries.
• Perform venipuncture, lab work, and sample collection.
• Take and process digital radiographs.
• Maintain medical records and provide shift updates.
