Job summary

AFL Telecommunications, LLC is seeking a UV Coloring Associate to operate coloring equipment and manage fiber through production. You will track transactions in Oracle, re-palletize colored fiber, and coordinate movements with shipping to keep materials flowing smoothly.

The role emphasizes strict safety, quality adherence, and ongoing equipment maintenance. A night shift schedule (7p–7a) and a strong detail focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3+ years of discrete manufacturing experience in cable manufacturing.
• Current AFL manufacturing process certification.
• Current EHS/Quality certification and training.
• No pending or repetitive disciplinary action.
• Very detail oriented with dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate UV coloring equipment to apply color coatings to optical fiber per production specs.
• Complete inventory and production transactions accurately in Oracle.
• Re-palletize finished colored fiber and prepare material for shipment or internal transfer.
• Coordinate with Shipping and Receiving to move materials promptly.
• Perform daily machine inspections and routine maintenance.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and report any issues.
