Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking a Utility Operator to support the Production portion of the Pet Food business. The role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs, with shifts including Sundays to Tuesdays and midweek nights.

Responsibilities include filling in for breaks, operating equipment, documenting downtime and lot numbers, and ensuring sanitation and quality standards are met. Forklift license may be required, and English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• English: speak, read, write and understand clearly.
• Ability to read and follow operating instructions and safety guidelines.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment and coordinate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for breaks or absences while maintaining production quality.
• Operate all necessary equipment in the assigned area.
• Record downtime, can loss, lot numbers, temperatures and other reports.
• Ensure all areas are cleaned to standard; perform weekly sanitation.
• Collaborate with team, adhere to BEST practices and participate in team meetings.
