Job summary

Thrive Rehab of Pearland is seeking an energetic Unit Manager (RN/LVN) to supervise nursing staff and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. The role requires oversight of night shift from 10:00pm to 6:00am, with Monday–Friday duties and an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 nursing support.

Responsibilities include supporting nursing administration, coaching staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting audits, and maintaining quality care across residents and shifts.

Qualifications

• Active license as LVN or RN in Texas.
• Supervisory healthcare experience preferred.
• Minimum six months experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices for nursing facility administration.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Strong communication with staff, residents, families and agencies.
• Familiarity with Point Click Care.
• Computer literacy: Outlook, Office, Internet.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as described in Nurse – RN or LVNJob Description, as applicable.
• Assist Director of Nursing to supervise nursing staff and ensure quality care.
• Provide in-services and staff development to meet quality standards and regulations.
• Provide clinical expertise to facilitate quality care.
• Identify safety concerns and take actions to ensure patient safety.
• Make rounds on nursing units and shifts to assess staff performance and quality of care.
• Develop and comply with policies for nursing department compliance with regulations.
• Participate in internal audits and improvement plans for deficits.
• Assist in ensuring nursing budget parameters are met.
