UofL Hospital – UMC in Louisville is seeking a Unit Clerk to perform clerical duties on the unit under the supervision of Licensed Nursing Personnel. You will maintain patient records, transcribe communications, and ensure accurate census in computer systems while providing courteous, professional service to patients and staff.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, prior clerical/computer experience, and a BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent is required.
• Previous clerical/computer experience and medical terminology strongly preferred.
• BLS certification is required by the American Heart Association (AHA).
