Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirements.
• Board eligible for ARDMS certification.
• Oregon Sonographer Or or Oregon Sonographer Temporary on hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: ARDMS certification.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment.
• Considers individual patient needs and age-related factors during imaging.
• Contributes to quality patient care and accuracy of diagnostic information.
