Job summary

BlueScope Buildings is hiring a Production Associate to support nightly operation from 10:00pm to 6:00am, Sunday through Friday. You will load and unload materials, assemble parts with a torque gun, and assist in placing products on equipment while maintaining quality standards.

You’ll use measuring tools to inspect materials, participate in continuous improvement, and keep the workspace organized according to 5-S practices. Health, safety, and teamwork are valued.

Responsibilities

• Load materials: loads and unloads material from machines, conveyors, etc.
• Prepare and assemble: assemble materials with a torque gun and assist in placement of products.
• Ensure quality: use measuring tools to inspect materials before, during, and after production.
• Contribute to improvement: participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain and organize: support housekeeping and 5-S practices.
