Job summary

Healthforce is seeking an Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Kearney, Nebraska, at a post-acute SNF. Start date is 11/02/2026 with 36 guaranteed hours per week and 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM–6:30 AM), including every other weekend and holiday.

Responsibilities include med administration, PCC charting, care plan updates, and coordination with the interprofessional team for discharge planning and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to submit
• BLS certification
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited program (BSN not required)
• Experience in skilled nursing facility or post-acute care preferred
• Proficiency with PCC or willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, skilled nursing care to residents during the night shift
• Administer medications, therapies, and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects
• Conduct nursing assessments, document findings, and contribute to care plan updates
• Document care using PCC and maintain accurate charting
• Coordinate discharge planning, therapies, and follow-up care with the interprofessional team
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to facility policies and regulatory standards
