Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse House Supervisor/Bed Placement Coordinator for a night shift role at a Level II Trauma Center in Spokane, WA. Requires WA license or compact license and at least two years of house supervisor or transfer center experience, plus Epic EMR fluency.

The role entails bed management, admissions coordination, and patient placement across ED/ICU/Pediatrics, with a 4x10 hour night schedule (20:00–06:30) and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• WA RN license or compact license required at submission.
• Minimum 2 years experience as house supervisor or transfer center.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Emergency care, crisis intervention/management and emergency preparedness skills.
• Broad clinical practice across ED, ICU, MS/Tele, NICU, Pediatrics, PICU, Surgical Services; pediatrics/PICU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bed management and admission coordination in Admit/Transfer Center.
• Coordinate new admissions and post-procedure/post-surgical patient placement.
• Facilitate transfers to higher levels of care.
• Follow organizational escalation processes for the facility.
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process.
