Job summary

Newsandtribune seeks an experienced MRI Technologist for a night shift position. The role requires Siemens MRI proficiency, BLS certification, and at least one prior travel assignment.

You will perform a broad range of MRI procedures across multiple body regions and collaborate with radiology and cardiology teams across facilities. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of MRI experience within the last seven years and preferred ARMRIT/ARRT certifications, with readiness to work the night schedule and

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ARMRIT, ARRT MR, and ARRT R certifications preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience within the last 7 years.
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment.
• Preferred experience in community hospital settings.
• Skilled in preparation and/or administration of contrast media.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE.
• Preferred ability to start peripheral IVs.
• Preferred experience with MIP and MPR reconstruction.

Responsibilities

• Night shift position, 3x12 hours, Sunday through Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM.
• Floating required between two facility locations overnight.
• Uses Siemens MRI scanner equipment.
• Preferred experience with Cerner charting system.
• Performs MRI procedures including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular imaging.
• Preferred experience in adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma settings.
• Work collaboratively with radiology and cardiology teams across multiple facility locations.
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted per 13-week contract, with no RTO allowed during the first two weeks of assignment.
• Accepts candidates within 60 miles at a local rate.
