Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift contract in Ohio. Candidates must hold an active Ohio or compact RN license and have at least 2 years of ICU experience, with BLS/ACLS.

Epic charting is required; NIC/CRRT and neuro/trauma experience are preferred. The role includes a 16-bed ICU within a 310-bed hospital and a night schedule (19:00–7:30) with limited weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

Active Ohio RN license or compact license required.
Associate's Degree in Nursing or BSN required.
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required.
BLS and ACLS certification through AHA required.
NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred.
Must pass online EKG/dysrhythmia competency within 72 hours of signing contract.
Epic charting experience required.
Experience with CABG, valve post-op, Impella, IABP, and CRRT.

Responsibilities

16-bed ICU unit within a 310-bed hospital.
Designated Neuro Unit for ischemic strokes receiving TPA.
Level III Trauma Center with Family Centered Care and open visiting hours.
Targeted patient ratios of 1:2 for Critical Care and 1:3 for Intermediate level patients.
Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours (19:00-7:30).
13 or 18 week winter contract options available.
Work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Floating within the hospital or to nearby Premier facilities based on census and skill set.
