Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a night shift assignment in Ohio. Active Ohio or compact RN licensure and at least one year of ICU experience are required.

Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, plus a professional reference from ICU leadership within the past 12 months. Vaccinations (COVID-19 and flu) are mandatory with exemptions only.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required.
• Minimum 1 year ICU experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• One professional reference from ICU manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the ICU within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical/religious exemptions only.

Responsibilities

• Medical ICU (MICU) setting at a hospital main campus.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Required to work at least every other holiday.
• Will complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, requiring a passing score.
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate.
• Candidates with an open background check case will not be accepted, and any professional license hits are disqualifying.
• Permanent or per diem employees must wait 1 year from their previous end date before returning to this health system.
• All RTO requests must be discussed during the interview process.
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this role.
