Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for Neuro ICU night shifts in Ohio. Candidates must have 2+ years in Neuro ICU and prior travel nursing experience.

Active OH or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required, with ACEN/CCNE accredited nursing education. Responsibilities include critical care management, use of Epic EMR, and ensuring patient safety across neuro-critical cases.

Qualifications

• Active OH license in hand at consideration.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years Neuro ICU experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in Neuro ICU; stroke, TBI, post-neurosurgical cases.
• Night shift 3x12 hours (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), 36 hours/week.
• Float within units of equal or lower acuity as needed.
• Utilize Epic EMR and telemetry equipment.
• Manage ventilators and intracranial pressure monitoring.
• Support first-time travelers and locals; RTO rules apply.
• Complete Ohio fingerprinting upon contract signing.
