Job summary

CALIBRE Sytems Inc is seeking a Program Analyst to join a team analyzing data for Army weapons and materiel systems, and supporting cost analyses in ERP contexts (GCSS-A, LMP, GFEBS). Roles include forecasts, strategic reporting, and briefing leadership on logistics, PPBE processes, and O&S costs.

The ideal candidate has DoD Secret clearance eligibility, US citizenship, and strong data visualization and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have or be able to obtain CompTIA Security+ within the first 60 to 90 days.
  • Strong communication and computer skills with an interest in data visualization tools and continuing to learn.
  • Be able to work tasks both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

  • Support requirements and metrics development, definition, data quality assessment, and strategic analysis.
  • Collect and analyze data to produce forecasts, assessments, recommendations, and reports.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource on project, updating project databases, and researching/analyzing program management matters.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and documentation and deliverables and translate data into strategic and tactical insights for leadership decision-making.
  • Prepare informative briefings, attend meetings, and demonstrate knowledge in Army logistics concepts and O&S costs.
  • Conduct administrative tasks in support of program management, maintain complex timelines, track deliverables, and coordinate meetings.
  • Assist in developing, documenting, implementing and tracking project procedures.
  • Work tasks both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Job description

CALIBRE Sytems Inc, an Employee-owned, management consulting and digital transformation company, is seeking a Program Analyst to work as part of a team that analyzes data involved in the tracking of fielded Army weapons and materiel systems and developing operating and support costs for systems to be used in the Army cost analysis and budgeting processes. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in one or more of following areas of Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems (GCSS-A, LMP, GFEBS), Force structure, Army logistics, Weapon System Life Cycle costs, understanding of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution (PPBE) processes or the Operating and Support (O&S) Costs. This position is a hybrid role.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Support requirements and metrics development, definition, data quality assessment, and strategic analysis.
  • Collect and analyze data to produce forecasts, assessments, recommendations, and reports.
  • Role may include serving as a subject matter resource on project, updating project databases, and researching/analyzing program management matters.
  • Assist in preparation of reports, briefings, and documentation and deliverables and translate data into useful strategic and tactical insights for leadership decision-making.
  • Responsible for preparing informative briefings, attending meetings, and demonstrating knowledge in Army logistics concepts (maintenance and supply), programs and initiatives, cost management and analysis experience supporting defense programs and the O&S Costs.
  • Perform administrative tasks directly in support of internal or customer-focused program/project management, such as maintaining complex project timelines, tracking deliverables, gathering data and updating project/program financial status reports, coordinating project/ program management meetings, and preparation of briefings and presentations.
  • Typically assists managers with developing, documenting, implementing and tracking project/program procedures.
  • Work tasks both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred
  • PPBE Experience, CDFM
  • Military Experience
  • Experience with Army Logistics policies and data
  • Able to maintain attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
  • Currently have or recently held a Secret Security Clearance
  • Familiar with VANTAGE or ADVANA
  • Technical skills in one or more of following: SQL, Access, Python, Tableau, Qlik, QuickSight, Excel Pivot Tables
  • Familiar with Army property books, weapon systems and fielding of future systems and changes in force structure
