Job summary

LifeNet Health in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a Processing Technician MS to perform tissue processing, preservation, and storage in an FDA-regulated setting. You will work in a team under aseptic conditions, ensuring quality assessments and proper documentation to support lifesaving allografts.

The role involves handling processing equipment, following strict procedures, and maintaining safety as you contribute to donor gifts becoming clinical products used worldwide.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
• Two years of work experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Tissue Processing: Reviews work orders or processing instructions prior to initiating production; performs all aspects of processing tissue per procedures.
• Packaging: Performs all aspects of packaging and preservation of tissue products per procedures.
• Documentation & Data Entry: Documents all processes in accordance with procedures.
• Decontamination: Performs post-processing decontamination of equipment and the processing room per procedures.
