Job summary

Bridgestone is seeking a warehouse associate in the United States (Illinois) to handle tires and related materials on a third shift. You will load, unload, and inventory tires, operate forklifts, and ensure accurate packing and shipping while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma; or 1-2 year vocational training / associates degree.
• Must be able to physically lift up to 50 lbs daily.
• Third shift: Mon-Fri 9:30 pm – 6:00 am.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, checks and tallies tires to and from carriers [trailer trucks]
• Stores tires in assigned warehouse locations
• Selects, packs, weighs, marks, palletizes tires of customer orders and places in the staging areas
• Checks and verifies accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting of tires for customer orders
• Operates reach truck, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment; adheres to safety guidelines
• Performs required counting, tallying and marking on inventory control documents
• Participates in cycle and/or annual physical inventories
• Maintains safety in palletizing and restacking tires
• Performs other warehouse-related and safety duties
• Maintains compliance with procedures and policies
