Qualifications

• Experience with stick and flux-core welding on large structural components.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints for fabrication and welding.
• MSHA certification is a plus.
• Must pass urine drug screen and welder lift/work assessment.

Responsibilities

• Weld large structural pieces of metal per drawings and specs.
• Follow pre-heat guidelines and company policies; rectify welds as directed.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure safety compliance.
• Work with shift leads and supervisors to complete welds to standard.
• Identify and address welding defects such as lack of fusion and undercuts.
