Job summary

Sabert is seeking a Machine Operator to join our Fort Wayne, IN team. You will start up and operate thermoforming lines, adjust settings for quality, and supervise packers to ensure efficient production. This full-time role requires mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and teamwork on a 12-hour shift from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Sabert offers competitive pay of $22.50 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), life insurance, and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform on a fast-paced production line.
• Experience as a machine operator is preferred but not required.
• Strong safety record and adherence to GMP rules.

Responsibilities

• Start up and operate thermoforming lines.
• Make process adjustments to ensure quality products.
• Operate and adjust supporting automation equipment (lip roller, bagger).
• Coordinate and direct packers on the line for efficient production.
• Monitor line set points, temperatures, and pressures to maintain rate.
• Complete production paperwork and oversee quality.
