Brief Description

Sabert is looking for Experienced Machine Operators to join our team. Starting rate: $24.75 - $26.75 + $1 Shift Differential. Day and Night shift positions.

Summary

Opportunity for individuals who are mechanically inclined and willing to learn. Machine Operators lead a team of packers, ensuring lines run efficiently and product meets customer standards before shipping.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Start up and operate extrusion and thermoforming lines.
• Make process adjustments to produce a quality product.
• Operate and adjust all supporting automation equipment (lip roller, bagger, etc.).
• Coordinate and direct packers assigned to the line for efficient production.
• Monitor line set points, temperatures, and pressures to maintain standard rates.
• Assist with completing tooling changeovers as needed.
• Complete production reporting.
• Maintain housekeeping in work area.

Physical Characteristics

• Standing (95% of the day).
• Lifting (no more than 40 lbs).
• Heat related when working on extruder die.

Schedule

• 12‑hour shift: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm or 6:00 pm – 6:00 am.
• 2‑2‑3 work schedule.
