Job summary

The DAVIS Companies in Andover, MA is seeking a Production Tech for a contract-to-hire role in the manufacturing sector. The position supports third shift operations (Sun 10PM-7AM, Mon-Thu 12AM-7AM) and offers a pay rate of $24/hour including a 20% shift differential.

You will set up and conduct initial testing of circuits and components, follow blueprints, and perform rework as required. This role requires attention to detail and strong manual dexterity.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or military technical training required.
• Experience with Volt Meters and Oscilloscopes required.
• 0-1 year of related experience required.
• Ability to read drawings and utilize measurement instruments effectively.
• Strong manual dexterity and coordination skills required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and conduct initial testing of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Follow test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
• Test assemblies and/or final systems as required.
• Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems based on testing results.
• Assist in the setup of specialized test equipment.
