Job summary

Giant Eagle, Inc. is seeking a Night Team Leader to oversee the Overnight Team across Center Store, Prepared Foods, Produce, Bakery and Meat.

You will supervise guest service, maintain department records, and ensure standards and methods are followed while representing the organization professionally. You will coach and develop Team Members, monitor performance, and promote a culture of respect, inclusion and safety.

Qualifications

• Retail work experience or Store Leader recommendation.
• Retail leadership or supervisory experience; Peer Trainer or in-store champion experience.
• Knowledge of department products; good performance and discipline.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select and train Team Members.
• Direct the work of Team Members.
• Appraise Team Members’ productivity for promotions or changes.
• Handle Team Member issues including complaints.
• Discipline Team Members.
• Plan and distribute the work among Team Members.
• Provide for safety and security of Team Members or the store.
• Manage the department or location budget.
• Manage inventory for the department or location.
• Monitor or implement compliance measures.
• Direct, oversee, and evaluate training to reduce turnover.
