Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Night Shift Machine Operator - Syrup Batcher who will operate and monitor high-speed production lines, batch syrup, and ensure product quality.

You must be comfortable with a physically demanding role, lift 20–45 lb cases, and work weekends/holidays as needed. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to GMP standards in a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with high speed production lines and fast-paced environments.
• Experience operating pallets and forklift equipment.
• Experience operating packing, filler and related manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand production flows.
• Experience with manufacturing computer systems, basic troubleshooting, alarms and resets.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and sanitization in a food plant.
• Experience performing minor mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency
• Move materials and finished products to maintain proper flow
• Ensure package and product quality
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
• Clean equipment and work area before, during, and after shift
• Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping
• Coordinate repairs with maintenance as needed
• Keep daily records of downtime and machine operations
• Collaborate with team in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain regular attendance
• Understand and safely operate the High Shear / High Speed mixer
• Set up outgoing concentrate shipments and receiving concentrate
• Conduct weekly concentrate inventory and PQI duties
