Job summary

Trinity Health in Syracuse, NY, seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist to support the perioperative team in the Operating Room Suite of 15 procedure rooms. The role involves instrument handling, supplies management, and assisting during all phases of procedures 24/7.

Graduate from Surgical Technology or LPN with NY licensure; must have BLS/CPR and be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Surgical Technology program or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited LPN program with NY licensure or eligibility.
• Participates in orientation, annual competencies and ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and clinical support to the perioperative team as primary scrub.
• Handles instrumentation, supplies and equipment and anticipates procedural needs.
• Schedule includes three 12-hour night shifts Fri-Sun, 7:00pm–7:30am.
