Qualifications

• MSN for NPs or PA degree from an accredited program.
• Florida licensure or eligibility to practice as an APRN/PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line overnight APP coverage for adult inpatients across designated surgical specialties.
• Perform bedside assessments and initiate evaluation and management within scope.
• Assist with overnight admissions and consults, including documentation and communication with the surgical team.
• Support postoperative transitions and PACU-to-floor handoffs with timely escalation as needed.
• Ensure thorough morning handoffs to primary surgical teams regarding overnight events.
