Job summary

Abraxas Youth and Family Services in South Mountain, PA seeks a Night Shift Supervisor to ensure facility safety and oversee the clients’ schedule. You will develop systems to organize and monitor activities and conduct supervisory conferences with staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree with experience in child-related field or equivalent.
• Alternate: Associate’s degree with multiple years of relevant work with children.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of the facility.
• Oversee the implementation of the clients’ schedule.
• Develop and implement systems to organize and monitor work activities.
• Conduct supervisory conferences and evaluations and provide feedback.
• Implement progressive discipline per policy.
• Write development plans with employees for training and growth.
• Facilitate new employee orientation and schedule mandatory training.
• Perform a nightly full facility headcount and uphold care principles.
• Support the Abraxas philosophy and Seven Key Principles of care.
• Demonstrate Safe Crisis Management techniques.
