Job summary

Nucor Corporation in El Paso, IL is seeking a Structural Fabricator Teammate for the 3rd shift (6:00 pm – 6:00 am) on a 2-2-3 schedule. You will perform fit-up, tacking, and welding on various structural assemblies, following weld standards and procedures, and reading prints for location.

We offer profit sharing, weekly and annual bonuses, and opportunities within NBG. Candidates must pass welding and related certification tests, read blueprints, and demonstrate safety and quality focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass AWS welding certification.
• Ability to read tapes, squares and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform fit up, tacking, and welding on structural assemblies.
• Weld and follow weld standards and procedures.
• Read prints for location and add stiffeners, brackets, face plates, etc.
• Maintain records and documentation.
• Ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
