Job summary

Dollar General seeks a Night Shift Supervisor to oversee overnight store operations, inventory, safety and asset protection. You’ll train associates, coach performance, and ensure adherence to company standards and procedures.

Responsibilities include safety meetings, backroom organization, stock unloading, and execution of the 7 Day Workflow Plan for night shift. Strong communication and math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of retail clerk experience.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Train all assigned associates on overnight operations procedures.
• Coach overnight associates to maintain company standards.
• Assess work completion and follow up with associates regarding performance.
• Implement performance standards and measures.
• Safety practices training including rolltainer safety, box cutters, lifting techniques, pallet jacks.
• Maintain clean, well-organized store and ensure safe environment.
