Job summary

Weatherby, Inc. is seeking a Stock Assembler I to join our team in Sheridan, Wyoming. You will contribute to turning carbon and composite materials into precision rifle stocks, performing assembly line tasks, fitting parts, and finishing components to Weatherby’s quality standards.

This role emphasizes craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork on the night shift. Training includes inspections and process improvements to support quality and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• English written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules, operating instructions, and work orders.
• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring instruments.
• Strong problem-solving skills, thoroughness, and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform stock assembly tasks in an assembly line fashion
• Assemble components and perform processes to specifications; perform quality inspections.
• Operate pneumatic and CNC equipment safely and efficiently; Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary.
• Work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere meeting daily goals together.
• Follow work instructions and prescribed safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
