Mount Carmel Health System is seeking an Instrument Technician Non-Certified for the Night Shift. This role focuses on reprocessing reusable hospital and surgical equipment, including advanced instruments and case carts, to ensure safe, sterile supplies for patient care.

Responsibilities include decontamination, assembly, sterilization, sterile storage, and inventory control, with adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
• Effective communication skills required.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides reprocessing of reusable hospital equipment including advanced surgical instruments and case carts.
• Adheres to safety policies to prevent injuries and maintain patient safety.
• Ensures proper packaging, processing, sterilization, and storage of instruments.
• Maintains inventory and communicates back-order information and substitutions.
• Performs duties independently across multiple specialty areas and under supervision as needed.
