• 1 year of experience as a surgical sterilization tech or equivalent.
• CRCST/CST certification or NBSTSA certification; may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, assemble and test instrumentation for proper functioning.
• Assist in decontamination, inspection, cleaning, assembling and packaging of medical materials to ensure sterility.
• Prepare trays and specialty carts; operate instrument tracking systems.
• Maintain inventory; document usage, issuing, receiving and recording as assigned.
