Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Missouri is seeking a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) to join the Sterile Processing Team at our flagship hospital. This role supports high-volume OR operations and requires attention to detail in sterilization processes.

The position is full-time with a Monday through Friday schedule, hours 6:00am to 2:30pm, offering comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a leading academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Must be Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in sterile processing is preferred (2–5 years).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes sterilizers and builds case carts for just-in-time delivery to procedural areas.
• Disassembles, decontaminates, and processes instrumentation per standards.
• Disassembles, cleans, inspects, tests functionality and assembles sets and trays.
• Transports case carts and equipment while preventing cross-contamination.
