Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Night Station Mechanic in Minnesota to join the maintenance team. The role includes assisting with repairs, performing PMs, and supporting operators during night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, six nights weekly with required flexibility.

The position offers safety‑driven work, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement. Qualifications include basic math, English proficiency, and maintenance experience; ability to pass tests and work with minimal supervision

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentage calculations.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to pass a Prove It test.
• Two years’ experience in maintenance field preferred.
• Able to work with minimal direct supervision.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and abilities to analyze and solve mechanical problems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in operation of maintenance power tools.
• Knowledge of electric and mechanical procedures.
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the repairs of equipment, property and the building.
• Maintain accurate communication to other mechanics and departments.
• Support station mechanic and operator basic functions of machinery and equipment.
• Effectively use electrical testing equipment.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and report to supervisor.
• Initiate and conduct routine preventative maintenance (PMs).
• Maintain shop 5s policies and cleanliness.
• Other duties as required.
