Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Minnesota is seeking a Night Station Mechanic to join the maintenance team. You will assist with repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and support machinery operations, communicating across departments.

The role requires basic math, English proficiency, and strong mechanical aptitude, with weekend flexibility. Night schedule is 9:00 PM–7:00 AM, six nights weekly, with required flexibility. Benefits offered after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills including arithmetic and percentages.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to pass a Prove It test.
• Two years’ experience in maintenance preferred.
• Work with minimal direct supervision.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude to analyze and solve problems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience operating maintenance power tools.
• Knowledge of electric and mechanical procedures.
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with necessary repairs of equipment, property and the building.
• Maintain accurate communication with other mechanics and departments.
• Support station mechanic and operator basic functions of machinery and equipment.
• Effectively use electrical testing equipment.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and report to supervisor.
• Initiate and conduct routine PMs on equipment with minimal supervision.
• Maintain 5S policies and shop cleanliness.
