Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC in Arcadia, CA seeks a Staff RN for our Stepdown Unit on the 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM). You will provide clinical care for acutely ill patients, guided by nursing standards and team collaboration.

You will coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, maintain competency in IV therapy and medication administration, and contribute to unit performance improvement while upholding IRAISE values and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• California RN licensure required; ACLS/BLS as applicable.
• One year of acute care or stepdown experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care planning, implementation and evaluation for each patient.
• Collaborate with LVN, CNA, nursing students and logistics staff in patient care.
• Maintain competency in medication administration and IV therapy.
• Contribute to Performance Improvement activities and teamwork.
