Indiana University Health is seeking passionate, experienced nurses to join the Organ Transplant Unit at University Hospital. This 33-bed unit cares for recipients of kidney, liver, pancreas, intestine, or multi-visceral transplants. The role emphasizes initiative, compassion, and integrity within a high-functioning team.

Ideal candidates hold at least an ASN, with BSN preferred, and an Indiana RN license or NLC. BLS is required, and there are opportunities for cross-training into Transplant ICU.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• Education: graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Exceptions: candidates with >2 years acute care exp may be considered; subject to CNO approval.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional Life Support certs may be required.

Responsabilités

• Care for organ transplant recipients on the 33-bed unit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support patient care.
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition and medications.
