• Certified and state tested as a State Registered Nurse Aide in the state employed; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Respond to residents' call lights to ensure comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transport residents by ambulation or wheelchair within the facility.
• Report significant findings immediately to a nurse.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Maintain safekeeping of residents' personal possessions.
• Adhere to infection control techniques and privacy rules.
• Provide restorative care to prevent complications.
• Engage residents and families to ease adjustment to the community.
